This block is designed to address the issues involved in starting a practice.  We will assess your readiness and provide guidance regarding office location, architecture, and clinic design.

Block 2: Business Planning

This block is designed to address the importance of business planning, creating a mission and vision, establishing a realistic budget, and selecting tools such as an Electronic Health Record (EHR) and Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system to help make your practice great.

Block 3: DNA of Your Organization

This block is designed to address the importance of culture, working together as a team and preventing burnout to improve the patient experience and satisfaction.

Block 4: Contract Negotiations & Credentialing

This block is designed to address the importance of learning how to discuss and compromise when negotiating a contract and why you need to begin the credentialing process soon after deciding to open your own practice.

Block 5: Insurance

This block is designed to address the importance of understanding what types of insurance are necessary to protect you, your practice, your staff, and your patients. 

Block 6: Accounting

This block is designed to address the importance of understanding accounting and tax implications.

Block 7: Regulations & Compliance

This block is designed to address the importance of understanding and following regulations and compliance guidelines that the law requires healthcare organizations to follow. We will familiarize you with the ever-growing government regulations that set the standards and where to find accurate, reliable information.

Block 8: Human Resources

This block is designed to address the importance of hiring, training, rewarding, and terminating employees.

Block 9: Employee Handbook

This block is designed to address the importance of having an employee handbook that sets the stage for a positive and trusting employee-employer relationship.  Your employee handbook should serve as a practical and legal way of protecting your practice from potential misunderstandings and conflict.

Block 10: Policies & Procedures

This block is designed to address the importance of having policies and procedures to use as a framework for daily operations.  Your policies and procedures should define standards of conduct and guide employee compliance, helping to create the culture of your practice.

Block 11: Promoting & Marketing Your Practice

This block is designed to address the importance of branding, promoting, and marking your practice using a variety of successful techniques.  We also educate you about reputation management.

Block 12: Opening, Running, & Closing Your Practice

This block is designed to help you with the “finishing touches” before opening, running, and closing your practice.
