I started this course to round out our medical education so that we can have the careers we have dreamed of because now, you have the knowledge necessary to be successful. What you don’t know can hurt you. Get educated, become empowered, make your career what you want it to be.

Margaret N. Masters
Partner and Trial Attorney, American Health Lawyers Association, Colorado Bar Association, Colorado Defense Lawyers Association, El Paso County Bar Association, Professional Liability Defense Federation, State Bar of Texas
Margaret Masters brings her clients the confidence borne of success and the benefits of broad practice experience. As lead counsel in cases tried to verdict, Margaret has secured defense verdicts for her clients in 25 of 25 jury trials of medical liability, product liability, premises liability and property claims. After beginning her career in Texas, Margaret and her family relocated to Colorado Springs, where she took some time to raise her three beautiful daughters, returning to legal practice with our predecessor firm. A founding partner of Stinnett Masters & Massey, Margaret handles cases in all of our core practice areas of medical, business and defense litigation. She also represents health care professionals in investigations by state licensing boards, government agencies, and professional organizations.
As a partner of the firm, Margaret understands the unique needs of not only practicing law, but running a business. Lawyers are generally not taught how to open, run or operate a law firm while in law school, and unlike the medical profession, there are few guidelines that are available to provide a basis for starting a law firm. Trial and error have been part of the learning experience and our success can be attributed to not only excellence in providing legal representation, but in running a firm built on integrity, loyalty and smart business sense.
